The resolution condemns Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his statement that Israel must be “wiped off the map,” for his Holocaust denial, and for other threats calling for the destruction of America and Israel. The resolution calls upon the Iranian regime to issue an apology and to cease its support for international terrorism.
U.S. security assistance to Israel plays a critical role in helping the Jewish state defend itself against a myriad of threats.
