The memorandum strengthened cooperation between the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service and the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture. Both countries agreed to “explore and coordinate research activities of mutual interest” across a broad spectrum of topics including animal science, plant science, soil science and agriculture.
