Dr. Whit Ayres is the President of Ayres, McHenry, & Associates, Inc., a national public opinion and public affairs research firm in Alexandria, Virginia, that provides research and strategic advice for corporations, associations, and Republican candidates for public office.
Before co-founding Murphy Putnam Media in 1996, Steve Murphy worked with Mark Putnam for seven years as a senior associate and partner with the Democratic political media firm Fenn-King Murphy-Putnam Communications. Murphy has also managed or worked on over twenty political campaigns across the United States, dating back to the 1976 Carter presidential campaign. From January 2003 through January 2004, he served as Campaign Manager for Dick Gephardt for President.
